April 29, 2019
Hosokawa Micron Ltd is thrilled to be exhibiting at CHEMUK 2019, the UK chemical industry’s only supply chain expo, to be held at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate on the 1st and 2nd May 2019.
Comprising more than 170 exhibitors and a programme of 70+ expert speakers – including Hosokawa Micron Ltd’s Managing Director, Iain Crosley – the expo promises to be an exciting addition to this year’s calendar of events. What will Hosokawa Micron Ltd be showcasing at CHEMUK 2019?
Hosokawa Micron Ltd has extensive expertise in the manufacturing side of the process industry and we are proud to have blue chip clients from the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, minerals, nuclear and ceramics industries. We have taken stand J7 to showcase our industry-leading products and Industry 4.0 technology brand, Hosokawa Gen4, for data-driven manufacture.
Using a unique Understand, Monitor, Control™ methodology and bespoke digital toolkit, Hosokawa Gen4 applies Industry 4.0 practices and smart manufacturing technologies to reduce energy bills, ensure a consistent product and help improve profitability, amongst many other benefits. Businesses can…
- Be part of a collaborative solution to suit individual business requirements
- Experience a 20-30%* decrease in machine downtime
- Be assured of a smooth transition from traditional to intelligent manufacturing
- Enjoy a 3-5%* increase in productivity
The centrepiece of stand J7…
Without doubt, the star of the stand will be RM350, a scale model of a centrifugal mill, 3D-printed by our friends at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC North West). The compact machine can be utilised by a range of industries and allows for impressive low-energy milling where space is at a premium. The kit is fully Hosokawa Gen4-enabled, allowing the team to show off the game-changing technology at CHEMUK 2019. RM350 and the Hosokawa Gen4 technology were recently on display at the POWTECH 2019 exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, where both products attracted a great deal of interest from visitors.
A presentation not to miss… Data Driven Manufacturing
Iain Crosley, Hosokawa Micron Limited’s Managing Director, is excited to be co-presenting at CHEMUK 2019 on the subject of Data Driven Manufacturing. Accompanying him will be Paul Diggle, Cloud Application Solutions Consultant for Siemens plc. The presentation will focus on how data analysis from Hosokawa Gen4 technology can identify operational issues and help to deliver process improvements. Visitors to CHEMUK 2019 can see Iain and Paul’s presentation on Wednesday 1st May (10.30am) on Stage 2.
